Lecture at the First Slavic Studies Conference in Spain
At the international Slavic Studies conference, the Congreso Complutense Internacional de Eslavistas (CompluCIE2025), held from October 15 to 17, 2025, at Complutense University of Madrid in Spain, Kristian Paskojević delivered a paper entitled “Cyrillic Script Variants in Croatia: Paleographic Analysis and the Evolution of Literacy Through History” Through this lecture, the international scholarly community was introduced to the competitive research project Cyrillic Script Variants in Croatia: Paleographic Analysis and the Evolution of Literacy Through History, funded by the Croatian Science Foundation (IP-2025-02-5681). Alongside the methodology, corpus, and objectives, the motivation for the project and the terminological issues inherent to the topic were presented concisely. The conference brought together approximately 200 presenters from 26 countries, with up to seven parallel sessions.
