Lecture at the 11th Zadar Philological Days
At the international scientific conference “Zadar Philological Days 11,” themed “Language, Literature and Culture – Mother Tongue and Other Languages,” held on 5–6 March 2026 at the University of Zadar and attended by more than one hundred scholars from around fifteen countries, Ivan Botica participated in the panel “Tri-literacy and Trilingualism of Croatian Literature of the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Period.”
Together with Josip Vučković (University of Zadar), he presented a paper titled “Printed in Latin Script, Transcribed in Cyrillic: On Unknown Literary Transcriptions by a Glagolitic Priest of the Split Archdiocese during the Long Eighteenth Century.” The presentation is part of the activities within the project “Cyrillic Script Variants in Croatia” (HRVĆIRPAL), funded by the Croatian Science Foundation.
